TRAVELLING MENTORSHIP

Are you a rural artist looking for feedback in your studio? Do you want to discuss your art with a professional who understands the challenges and rewards of working in rural Saskatchewan?

CARFAC SASK’s Travelling Mentorship Program, funded by SK Arts, is designed to support the practices of artists working outside of major centres in Saskatchewan, offering critical engagement, peer-networking, and professional development. Participating artists can expect to present, discuss, and gain sustained feedback on their work and their personal artistic goals through two in-person studio/home-studio visits with the Travelling Mentor supported by ongoing remote one-on-one mentorship and group meetings.

CARFAC SASK is thrilled to announce artist Linda Duvall as CARFAC SASK’s 2025-2026 Travelling Mentor from September 1, 2025-June 30, 2026! The Travelling Mentor program welcomes Sask-based artist participants at any stage of their career, working in any medium, living on rural routes, hamlets, villages, towns, and cities other than Regina and Saskatoon to apply for this 10-month mentorship opportunity.

Application deadline is August 8, 2025.

LINDA DUVALL lives on Treaty 6 territory in Saskatchewan, Canada. Her work exists at the intersection of collaboration, performance and conversation. Duvall has completed art degrees at OCAD University, University of Michigan and Transart Institute. She has had exhibitions in Guatemala, Ireland, Barcelona, Slovenia, Berlin, Caen and across Canada. www.lindaduvall.com
