ABOUT CARFAC SASK WORKSHOPS

CARFAC SASK workshops are facilitated by artists sharing their expertise on a given topic. Current professional development workshops are delivered in the following-ways:

  • In-Person Workshops offered in communities throughout Saskatchewan, organized in partnership with arts organizations or community group;

  • Online Workshops organized by CARFAC SASK, taking place via Zoom, potentially organized in partnership with arts organizations or community groups;

  • CARFAC SASK, Alberta, and Manitoba’s collaborate on an ongoing Prairie Webinar Series. Each webinar brings two prairie artists together in discussion on a topic;

  • Additional public workshops are offered in conjunction with other CARFAC SASK programs such as the Travelling Mentor Program or Art Writing Mentorship.

CARFAC SASK workshops are offered for free and open to members, artists, and public a-like. Occasionally, member-focused workshops such as the ongoing Prairie Webinar Series will encourage a small-fee for non-members, which is not enforced.

Workshops are developed based on feedback from you! Reach out to programs.sask@carfac.ca to start building future workshops that respond to community need and reflect the diverse artistic voices of the province. If you recently participated in a CARFAC SASK workshop, you’re invited to provide feedback HERE.
